The Vortex blurs the line between humanistic control and autonomous, generative experience.

In collaboration with Studioninedots and Karper K, The Vortex is powered by MAINFRAME-A but scaled up to cover a space spanning 5m by 30m. Using Synthetic State's advanced, color & pattern rendering engine, the Vortex intends to create an experience which feels as if a human is controlling it live, or has created it. Instead, it is autonomously generated, adding in the slight feel of chaos associated with human control and moving away from the overly-patterned nature we associate with digital experience.
